Lent (beginning on 6 March) is the period of forty days which comes before Easter in the Christian calendar. Purple is used during Lent because it is associated with mourning and anticipates the pain/suffering of the crucifixion, and because purple is the colour associated with royalty, and celebrates Christ’s resurrection & sovereignty.

Celebration of Hope is about Christians in Singapore rallying together and reaching out to share Jesus Christ with friends and relatives. The message we are proclaiming is that Jesus Christ is the one name in which everyone can have solid hope. The vision is of personal evangelism on a mass scale, culminating in Gospel rallies at the 50,000 capacity National Stadium over 3 days, 17 –19 May 2019. BBPC will be participating and over the next few months, we will be sharing more information with you
